She attended the University of New Mexico on a volleyball scholarship and graduated with a degree in Finance/Accounting. While the Finance industry challenged her there was an underlying hidden potential and passion to help people with one of the most impactful decisions of their lives. The next step was to learn all of the components of the industry and capitalize on the strengths and weaknesses while building the company. Monica has a great awareness of market trends, investment potential, innovative marketing solutions, and accurate values of each property. Within the first year of business she received a Rookie of the Year award within each Keller Williams office locations. Monica has lived in Albuquerque for over 17 years and has become extremely familiar with each county and its surrounding areas. Luckily the drive and determination to learn the market and her clients needs eventually turned into an opportunity to continue the R1 model that has helped change 1000s of realtors lives. The opportunity to move to Rapid City South Dakota came at no surprise and quickly became a reality! Fortunately, passion for people, the Black Hills and a high work ethic are the true creditors of Monica’s success. She does not allow a good opportunity to pass her by and also strives to provide the most consistent customer service possible. Monica is a competitive and accomplished golfer when she is not working with clients. Her favorite hobbies include Golfing, Fly fishing, Skiing, Cycling, Running with her Weimaraner, and Backpacking. She has acquired a well educated and knowledgable team with her Manager being a native New Mexican who brings 20+ years of corporate management, marketing and sales experience. We value and learn each day from his expertise as he keeps our efforts focused and always progressing in a positive manner. He leaves nothing on the table and values each clients wants and needs.
